Four-handed playing – “Franz Schubert”

Contents: A piece for four hands by Franz Schubert is introduced. The left hand plays the chords in a steady three-four time, while the right hand plays the melody.

Exercise: First, the piece is practiced at a slow tempo. The students learn to pay attention to the other player and stay in sync, especially during transitions and rhythmic changes.

Objective: To develop the ability to play harmoniously and rhythmically with a second player in four-hand playing.
